We are pleased to offer for sale this Grant Memorial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar (1922) in XF-40 or Better Condition.  This Grant Memorial Half Dollar was designed by Laura Gardin Fraser and was struck to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Ulysses S. Grant's birth.  The obverse of the Grant Memorial Commemorative Half Dollar features a bust of Grant.  The reverse of the Grant Memorial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows the frame house in Point Pleasant, Ohio where Grant was born on April 27, 1822. There were only 70,661 of this Grant Memorial Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1922, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector.  The Grant Memorial Commemorative Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
