We are pleased to offer for sale this Arkansas Centennial Robinson Silver Commemorative Half Dollar (1936) in XF-40 or Better Condition.  This Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the admission of Arkansas into the Union.  There were only 25,265 of this Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar Commemorative Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1936, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector.  This Arkansas Centennial Half Dollar was engraved by Henry Kreis.  The obverse of the Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar, designed by Everett Burr, features an eagle perched upon a rising sun holding a banner inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST at left and E PLURIBUS UNUM at right.  The reverse of the Arkansas Centennial Robinson Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a portrait of Senator Joseph T. Robinson who was still living at the time his portrait was used.  This Arkansas Centennial Robinson Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
