We are pleased to offer for sale this Missouri Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar (1921) in XF-40 or Better Condition.  This Missouri Centennial Half Dollar was designed by Robert Aitken and was struck to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the admission of Missouri to the Union.  The obverse of the Missouri Centennial Commemorative Half Dollar features a bust of a frontiersman.  The reverse of the Missouri Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows an Indian with a frontiersman.  There were only 20,428 of this Missouri Centennial Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1921, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector.  The Missouri Centennial Commemorative Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
