We are pleased to offer for sale this Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar (1936) in XF-40 or Better Condition.  This Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Half Dollar was originally designed by David Parsons a University of Wisconsin student and was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wisconsin territorial government.  The obverse of the Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Half Dollar features a badger on a log, the state emblem, and arrows representing the Black Hawk War of the 1830's.  The reverse of the Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar has the territorial seal, which includes a forearm holding a pickaxe over a mound of lead ore.  There were only 25,015 of this Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1936, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector!  The Wisconsin Territorial Centennial Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams..
