We are pleased to offer for sale this 1940-D  Washington Silver Quarter coin graded and encapsulated as MS-65 by PCGS.  There were only 2,797,600 of these 1940 Washington Quarters minted at the Denver Mint. 

The Washington Quarter series has run from 1932 to Date. This variety of Washington Quarter (1932-1964) weighs 6.25 grams and is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper. These Washington Quarters have a diameter of 24.3mm with a reeded edge. This Washington Quarter  is of great value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Washington Quarter set.
