We are pleased to offer for sale this 1909-S Indian Head Cent KEY DATE coin graded and encapsulated as VF-35 by PCGS. This Indian Head Cent is a Variety 3 Bronze coin (1864-1909). This Indian Head Cent has an Oak Wreath with Shield reverse.  Only 309,000 of the 1909-S Indian Head Cents were minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint, making it one of the KEY DATE coins of the series.  

The Indian Head Cent series ran from 1859 through 1909. Variety 3 Bronze coin (1864-1909) made of .950 copper and .050 tin and zinc, with a mass of 3.11 grams, and a diameter of 19mm with plain edge.
