• History:  This stamp was issued to celebrate the USPS's sponsorship of the Team USA at the 1992 Winter (Albertville)  and Summer (Barcelona) Olympic Games.  The stamp features a flying bald eagle over a red background as well as the US Olympic Team Logo. The bald eagle is the national bird of the US and is used to represent USPS.  This stamp was issued as an Express Mail stamp, however can be used for any class of US Mail.
