We are pleased to offer for sale this 1939 Lincoln Wheat Cent coin from the Omaha Bank Hoard graded and encapsulated as MS-66 RD (Red) by PCGS.  The Omaha Bank Hoard is said to have contained several thousand rolls of coins hand picked for gem quality by an anonymous collector.  The collection spans almost 50 years from the early 30's through 1980.   This Lincoln Wheat Penny is a Variety 1 Bronze (1909-1958).  There were 316,466,000 of these 1939 Lincoln Wheat Cents minted at the Philadelphia Mint.

The Lincoln Wheat Cent series ran from 1909 through 1958.  This type of Lincoln Wheat Penny weighs 3.11 grams and is comprised of .950 copper and .050 tin and zinc.
