We are pleased to offer for sale this 1880/79-CC Reverse of 1878 Morgan Silver Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as F-15 by PCGS.  There were only a total of  591,000 1880 Morgan Silver Dollars minted at the Carson City Mint, though it is not known exactly how many there are of this rare 80 over 79 Second Reverse ("Reverse of 1878"). 

The Morgan Dollars series ran from 1878 through 1921. Morgan Silver Dollars weigh 26.73 grams and are comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (.773 troy ounce of silver). These 90% Silver Morgan Dollars have a diameter of 38.1mm. This Morgan Silver Dollar is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Morgan Silver Dollar set.  Some of our slabbed dollars do have toning.
