The Perth Mint released only 5,000 of the 2015 Star Trek – Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1oz Silver Proof Coin.

 DESIGN

The Captain Jean-Luc Picard coin’s reverse portrays a color image of Sir Patrick Stewart OBE as Captain Jean-Luc Picard as he appeared in the television series Star Trek, against a representation of the U.S.S. Enterprise and the inscription CAPTAIN JEAN-LUC PICARD. The design also includes The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight and fineness.
