There were 4,797,000 of these 1832 Capped Bust Silver Half Dollars minted at the Philadelphia Mint however it is unknown how many are this Small Letters Reverse variety. This coin is also a Remodeled Portrait and Eagle type (1809-1836).

The Capped Bust Lettered Edge Silver Half Dollar series ran from 1807 through 1836.
