We are pleased to offer for sale this 2003-P First Flight Centennial Uncirculated Silver Dollar graded and encapsulated as MS-69 by NGC. There were only 53,533 of this First Flight Silver Dollar minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.  This 2003-P Wright Brothers Commemorative Coin was produced by the United States Mint and is specially designed and created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First Flight by Orville and Wilbur Wright.  The obverse of the Wright Brothers Uncirculated Dollar was designed by Jim Ferrell and features the Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur, in profile.  The reverse of the First Flight Commemorative Dollar was designed by Norman E. Nemeth, and features an airborne image of the Wrights' plane, the Wright Flyer.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge.
