We are pleased to offer for sale this 1987-P U.S. Constitution Bicentennial Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar graded and encapsulated as MS-69 by NGC. There were only 541,629 of this U.S. Constitution Silver Dollar minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint. This 1987-P US Constitution Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the U.S. Constitution.  The obverse of the 1987 United States Constitution Bicentennial Coin was designed by Patrick Verani and contains an image of a quill pen, a sheaf of parchment, and the words "WE THE PEOPLE".  The reverse, also designed by Verani portrays a cross-section of Americans from various periods representing contrasting lifestyles.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge. Some of our silver dollars may have toning.
