We are pleased to offer for sale this 1870-CC Liberty Seated Silver Dollar with Motto coin graded and encapsulated as G-04 by PCGS. There were only 11,758 of these 1870 Seated Liberty Dollars minted at the Carson City (CC) Mint.

The Seated Liberty Dollar series ran from 1840 through 1873.  The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was included on the reverse of the coin from 1866-1873.  These Liberty Seated Silver Dollars with MOTTO weigh 26.73 grams and are comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper. They have a diameter of 38.1 mm and a reeded edge.  This Silver Liberty Seated Dollar is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Seated Liberty Dollar set.
