We are pleased to offer for sale this 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar. This U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Silver Dollar was minted in 1997 and is in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. This 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Silver Dollar was produced by the United States Mint to help fund the projects and mission of the Unites States Botanic Garden in Washington, DC. There were 58,505 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Silver Dollars minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.

The U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Dollar Coin is comprised of .900 silver (90% silver) and .100 copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams. The obverse of the 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Dollar was designed by Edgar Z. Steever, IV and features the facade of the Unites States Botanic Garden Building. The reverse side of the 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Silver Dollar was designed by William C. Cousins and features America's national flower, the rose, displayed beneath a garland of roses.
