We are pleased to offer for sale this Washington-Carver Silver Commemorative Half Dollar in XF-40 or Better Condition .  There were only 1,106,292 of this Washington-Carver Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1952. This Washington-Carver Half Dollar was designed by Isaac Scott Hathaway and was struck in commemoration of the two prominent black Americans.  The obverse of the Washington-Carver Commemorative Half Dollar features conjoined busts of Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver.  The reverse of the Washington-Carver Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a map of the United States.

This classic commemorative half dollar is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.  Some of our slabbed commemorative coins may have toning. This commemorative coin is of great worth and value to the collector who is trying to fill out their Commemorative Coins Collection!
