We are pleased to offer for sale these 2004 P&D Iowa BU State Quarters. You will receive two 2004 Iowa State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, one each from the Denver and Philadelphia Mints.  The theme of the Iowa State Quarter is "Foundation in Education." Iowa was admitted into the Union on December 28th of 1846. The reverse side of the Iowa State Quarter features a one-room schoolhouse with a teacher and students planting a tree, and the inscriptions Foundation in Education and Grant Wood. The reverse side of the Iowa State Quarter was designed by John Mercanti.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Iowa BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls.
