We are pleased to offer for sale this 1883 Liberty Head V Nickel Variety 2 With CENTS coin graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by PCGS.  This Liberty Head Nickel is a Variety 2 with "CENTS" (1883-1913). The "With CENTS" refers to the inclusion of the word "CENTS" on the reverse. 16,026,200 of these 1883 with CENTS Liberty Head V Nickels were minted at the Philadelphia Mint.

The Liberty Head V Nickel series ran from 1883 through 1913.  Liberty Head V Nickels weigh 5 grams and are composed of .750 copper and .250 nickel, with a diameter of 21.2mm and a plain edge.  This Liberty Head V Nickel is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Liberty Head Nickel set.  Some of our slabbed nickels do have toning.  We offer an incredible selection of NGC and PCGS certified Nickels!
