This 1925 Fort Vancouver Centennial Half Dollar was designed by Laura Gardin Fraser and was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fort Vancouver in Washington.  The obverse of the Fort Vancouver Centennial Half Dollar features a portrait of John McLoughlin who built Fort Vancouver on the Columbia River in 1825.  The reverse of the1925 Fort Vancouver Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar features a pioneer settler in a buckskin suit with a musket in his hands.  Fort Vancouver is featured in the background.  We offer an incredible selection of PCGS and NGC certified Commemorative Coins!
