We are pleased to offer for sale this 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar with CC Privy Mark graded and encapsulated as MS-69 First Day of Issue by PCGS . This coin celebrates the 100th anniversary of the last year of the Morgan Dollar as well as the Carson City Mint (CC) . Only 175,000 of these coins were minted!

The 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar with CC Privy Mark was minted at the Philadelphia  Mint.  Total mintage was only 175,000 pieces. The coin is comprised of 99.9% silver with a diameter of 1.500 inches (38.1mm) and a silver weight of .858 troy oz with a reeded edge. The obverse features Liberty in profile. A cap, flora, and a crown incused with the word LIBERTY adorn her head, while 13 stars, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the date of issuance encircle her. The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clasping arrows and an olive branch, accompanied by a wreath. Reverse inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR. The reverse also features a CC privy mark, in recognition of the historic Mint facility located in Carson City, NV, where some of the original Morgan Dollars were minted.

Once graded, the coin is sonically sealed in a tamper-evident plastic coin holder known as a slab. Certified coins can provide an extra measure of security when buying coins, insuring that the coin is authentic, problem free and un-doctored. Furthermore, some services offer an additional guarantee that the coin has not been over graded and maintain policies to protect the buyer.

All of the respected services grade coins according to wear, using industry standards. These standards can be found in two books, Official A.N.A. Grading Standards for United States Coins and the book Photograde: A Photographic Grading Guide for United States Coins.

In the business of coin grading, there are two services that stand out, Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), and Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC). Both were established in the mid 1980s and are considered the "Gold Standard" of grading services. These are the companies that every other company is compared to.

Both PCGS & NGC guarantee the grade and authenticity of any Certified Coin that meets their high standards.
