We are pleased to offer for sale this 1913 Type 1 Buffalo Nickel coin graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by PCGS.  This Buffalo, Indian Head, or Bison Nickel is a Variety 1 with the 'FIVE CENTS' on Raised Ground (1913). There were 30,992,000 of these 1913 T1 Buffalo Nickels minted at the Philadelphia Mint.

The Buffalo Nickel series ran from 1913 through 1938. These Buffalo Nickels are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel. The Buffalo Nickels have a weight of 5 grams, and a diameter of 21.2mm with a plain edge. This Buffalo Nickel is of great value and worth to the collector looking to fill a hole in their Buffalo Nickel set.  Some of our slabbed nickels do have toning.
