We are pleased to offer for sale this 1996-P Paralympics Atlanta XXVI Olympic Games Centennial Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar graded and encapsulated as PR-69 DCAM (Deep Cameo)by PCGS. There were only 84,280 of this Paralympics Silver Dollar minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.  This 1996-P XXVI Olympiad Paralympics Silver Dollar Proof was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Modern Olympic Games.  The obverse of the 1996-P XXVI Olympiad Paralympics Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was designed by Jim Sharpe and features a wheelchair athlete raising his arms in victory under the inscription "Triumph of the Human Spirit". The reverse side of the 1996-P XXVI Olympiad Paralympics Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was designed by Thomas D. Rogers, Sr. and features the Atlanta Olympic Games logo.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge. some of our commemorative dollars do have toning.  This 90% silver coin is of great worth and value to the collector who is trying to fill out their Commemorative Coins Collection!  We offer an incredible selection of NGC and PCGS certified commemorative coins!
