We are pleased to offer for sale this 2004-P Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as MS-69 by NGC.  There were 142,015 of the 2004-P Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollars minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint. his 2004-P Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Silver Commemorative Dollar was struck to commemorate the bicentennial of Lewis and Clark's exploration of the new territory acquired in the Louisiana Purchase. The obverse of the 2004-P Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Silver Commemorative Dollar was designed by Donna Weaver and features Lewis and Clark standing on a river bank planning another day of exploration. The reverse side of the 2004-P Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Silver Commemorative Dollar was also designed by Donna Weaver and features an image of 2 feathers, 17 stars representing each state in the Union at the time The reverse also depicts a rendition of the peace medal presented to Native American Nations on behalf of President Thomas Jefferson.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge.
