Rogers, Sr. and features an image of an open book superimposed over the torch of the Library of Congress dome. The reverse side of the 2000-P Library of Congress Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was designed by John Mercanti and features an architectural rendering of the dome on the Jefferson Building.
