We are pleased to offer for sale this 2000-P Library of Congress Bicentennial Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as PF-69 Ultra Cameo by NGC.  There were 198,503 of the 2000-P Library of Congress Commemorative Silver Proof Dollar minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint. This 2000-P Library of Congress Proof Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate the bicentennial of the Library of Congress.  The obverse of the 2000-P Library of Congress Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was designed by Thomas D. Rogers, Sr. and features an image of an open book superimposed over the torch of the Library of Congress dome. The reverse side of the 2000-P Library of Congress Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was designed by John Mercanti and features an architectural rendering of the dome on the Jefferson Building.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge.
