We are pleased to offer for sale this 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as MS-69 by NGC. There were only 58,505 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Silver Uncirculated Dollars minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.  This 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Silver Dollar was produced by the United States Mint to help fund the projects and mission of the Unites States Botanic Garden in Washington, DC. The obverse of the 1997-P U.S. Botanic Garden Commemorative Silver Dollar was designed by Edgar Z. Steever, IV and features the facade of the Unites States Botanic Garden Building. The reverse side of the 1997-P U.S. Botanical Garden Commemorative Silver Dollar was designed by William C. Cousins and features America's national flower, the rose, displayed beneath a garland of roses. 

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge. Some of our silver dollars may have toning.
