We are pleased to offer for sale this 1945-S Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as MS-64+ by PCGS.  There were 10,156,000 of this 1945 Walking Liberty Half Dollars minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.  Since 2010, PCGS has used the plus designation ("+") to denote coins that are in the top 15-20% of any particular grade. 

The Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar series ran from 1916 through 1947.  Walking Liberty Half Dollars weigh 12.50 grams and are comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (.3617 troy ounce of silver). These 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars, known commonly as "Walkers", have a diameter of 30.6mm and a reeded edge. This Walking Liberty Half Dollar is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Walkling Liberty Half Dollar set.   Some of our slabbed half dollars do have toning.
