We are pleased to offer for sale this 2006-S San Francisco Old Mint Centennial Commemorative Silver Dollar graded and encapsulated as MS-69 by PCGS. There were only 67,100 of this 2006 San Francisco Old Mint Centennial Silver Dollar minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.  This 2006 San Francisco Old Mint Centennial Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate the survival of the San Francisco Old Mint during the earthquake of 1906 and the Old Mint's role in rebuilding San Francisco.  The obverse of the 2006-S San Francisco Old Mint Silver Commemorative Dollar was designed by Sherl J. Winter and features an image of the Old San Francisco Mint building. The reverse side of the 2006-S San Francisco Old Mint Silver Commemorative Dollar was designed by George T. Morgan and is a replica of the reverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge. Some of our silver dollars may have toning.
