We are pleased to offer for sale this 1896 Liberty Head V Nickel coin graded and encapsulated as XF-40 by PCGS.  There were only 8,841,058 of these 1896 Liberty Head V Nickels minted at the Philadelphia Mint. 

The Liberty Head V Nickel series ran from 1883 through 1913.  Liberty Head V Nickels weigh 5 grams and are composed of .750 copper and .250 nickel, with a diameter of 21.2mm and a plain edge.  This Liberty Head V Nickel is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Liberty Head Nickel set.  Some of our slabbed nickels do have toning.  We offer an incredible selection of NGC and PCGS certified Nickels!
