We are pleased to offer for sale this 1936-S Cincinnati Music Center 50th Anniversary Silver Commemorative Half Dollar coin graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by PCGS.  There were only 5,006 of these coins minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.  This Cincinnati Music Center Half Dollar was designed by Constance Ortmayer and was struck to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Cincinnati as a center for music.  The obverse of the Cincinnati Music Center Commemorative Half Dollar features Stephen Foster, "America's Troubadour".  The reverse of the Cincinnati Music Center Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a statuesque lady with a harp.

This classic commemorative half dollar is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.  Some of our slabbed commemorative coins may have toning.
