We are pleased to offer for sale this 1953 Proof Washington Silver Quarter coin graded and encapsulated as PR-68 by PCGS.  There were only 128,800 of these 1953 Proof Washington Quarters minted at the Philadelphia Mint. 

The Washington Quarter series has run from 1932 to Date. This variety of Washington Quarter (1932-1964) weighs 6.25 grams and is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper. These Washington Quarters have a diameter of 24.3mm with a reeded edge. This Washington Quarter  is of great value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Washington Quarter set.
