We are pleased to offer for sale this Cincinnati Music Center 50th Anniversary Silver Commemorative Half Dollar (1936) in XF-40 or Better Condition.  This Cincinnati Music Center Half Dollar was designed by Constance Ortmayer and was struck to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Cincinnati as a center for music.  The obverse of the Cincinnati Music Center Commemorative Half Dollar features Stephen Foster, "America's Troubadour".  The reverse of the Cincinnati Music Center Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a statuesque lady with a harp.  There were only 15,016 of this Cincinnati Music Center Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints in 1936, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector.  The Cincinnati Music Center Commemorative Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
