We are pleased to offer for sale this 1936 Cleveland Centennial Great Lakes Exposition Commemorative Silver Coin graded and encapsulated as MS-65 by PCGS.  There were only 50,030 of this Cleveland Centennial Commemorative Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint.  This 1936 Cleveland Commemorative Half Dollar was designed by Brenda Putnam. The Cleveland Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the100th anniversary celebration of Cleveland held during the Great Lakes Exposition.  The obverse of the coin features a bust of Moses Cleveland.  The reverse features a map of the great lakes region with a compass pointing to Cleveland.
