This Seated Liberty Half Dime is a Variety 4 Legend on Obverse coin (1860-1873). It has "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" surrounding the Seated Lady Liberty on the obverse of the coin. There were only 1,060,000 of the 1860 Seated Liberty Half Dime minted at the New Orleans (O) Mint.

Seated Liberty Half Dimes ran from 1837-1873. Seated Liberty Half Dimes weigh 1.34 grams and have a diameter of 15.5mm and are made of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% silver).
