We are pleased to offer for sale this 1935/34 Daniel Boone "Small 1934" Variety Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Coin graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by PCGS.  There were only 10,008 of this Daniel Boone Bicentennial Commemorative Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint.  The 1935/34 refers to a variety of this coin where a small "1934" was included on the reverse of the coin to the right of Boone and Blackfish.  This 1935/34 Daniel Boone Bicentennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of frontiersman Danial Boone.  This Danial Boone Silver Coin was designed by Augustus Lukeman.  The Daniel Boone Bicentennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar features a portrait of Daniel Boone on the obverse and Daniel Boone with war chief Blackfish of the Shawnee tribe on the reverse.
