This 2006 San Francisco Old Mint Centennial Silver Dollar commemorates the 100th year after the Old San Francisco Mint survived an earthquake. The mint also played a part in the city's recovery after the earthquake. There were only 67,100 of these 2006-S San Francisco Old Mint Centennial Commemorative Silver Dollar Coins minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.  The obverse of the 2006 San Francisco Old Mint Dollar is an image of the mint. The reverse is a replica of the 1904 Eagle design featured on Morgan Silver Dollars. This Old San Francisco Mint Commemorative Silver Dollar is comprised of .900 Silver (90% Silver) and .100 Copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams.
