We are pleased to offer for sale this 1981-S Washington Quarter Proof Type 2 Clear S coin graded and encapsulated as PF-68 Ultra Cameo by NGC.  There were only 4,063,083  of these 1981 Washington Quarters minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint, though it is unknown how many with the Clear S were minted. 

The Washington Clad Quarter series has run from 1965 to date. Washington Quarters weigh 5.67 grams and are comprised of an outer layer of 75% copper, 25% nickel with a center of 100% copper. These Washington Quarters have a diameter of 24.3mm with a reeded edge. This Washington Quarter  is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Washington Quarter set.
