We are pleased to offer for sale this 1936 Arkansas Centennial Robinson Commemorative Half Dollar graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by NGC.  There were only 25,265 of this Arkansas Centennial Robinson Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1936. This Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar was was engraved by Henry Kreis and was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the admission of Arkansas into the Union.  The obverse of the Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar, designed by Everett Burr, features an eagle perched upon a rising sun holding a banner inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST at left and E PLURIBUS UNUM at right.  The reverse of the1936 Arkansas Centennial Robinson Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a portrait of Senator Joseph T. Robinson who was still living at the time his portrait was used.

This classic commemorative half dollar is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.  Some of our slabbed commemorative coins may have toning.
